I don’t aspire for a world in which everyone is nude all of the time. I do, however, aspire for a world in which everyone has the right to choose how little or how much to wear without being penalized.
Clothing-optional RV park drawing mixed emotions from Palestine community There’s a new tourist attraction coming soon to the city of Palestine, an adult-only RV park, where you don’t even have to wear clothes. It is a private community for members only and is gated. The Purple Peacock RV Resort is drawing many mixed emotions from that community. KETK had an interview set up with the owner, but once we got there they decided Wednesday was not a good time. About 10 miles down U.S. Highway 84 from the park is Alesia and Rhonda Thomas’ store, The Cuckoo’s Nest. “It started to just to be a corner store and bakery and it has turned into a hamburger joint,” said Rhonda Thomas. They’ve heard it all, as people drop in talking about the new adult-only park. “Ya know, it’s something really different for Palestine,” said Rhonda. “Personally, I wouldn’t go down there, but there may be other people that like it.” read more – Source: my East Tex
In this post for Women on Wednesdays, I reference one of women’s biological experiences as a way to look at recent clothing optional discussions from a different perspective.
talk up tuesday April 5, 2016 clothing optional or clothes free how would you feel most comfortable your first time vision a naturist/nudist venue Welcome to the debut of talk up Tuesday. Share your opinion, your voice, your thoughts on the topic of the week. This week’s question came from a response on Twitter to a tweet made during last week’s live broadcast. Host EarlD suggested some people might be more comfortable on a first time visit to a naturist/nudist venue if it were clothing optional instead of clothes free. The very specific quote drew very generalized response to in the words of one Twitter give the “other side”. We think there is only one side that of the person who is testing the waters for the first time. That do you think? Talk up would you be most comfortable your first time at a distance/naturist venue if it was clothing optional or clothes free. Do you think your friends or family who are no naturist/nudists or clothes free be more comfortable first time at clothes …
The best place to get naked in Oregon: Readers name their favorite clothing-optional destination The beach has a reputation as a quieter spot in the morning, with more rowdy activity ramping up in the evening – ideal for beach loungers by day and party people by night. As far as the poll goes, it’s also worth noting that third place technically went to “other” write-in candidates. The most popular write-in was some form of “my home,” “my shower” or “my bed,” which collectively received 25 votes and indicated that some people are just more comfortable stripping down in the private. That point has been lost in all my nude recreation coverage of late. Being naked in public isn’t for everybody, after all. But if you dare to go bare around Oregon, your fellow naturists would like to suggest you do it at one of our local clothing-optional beaches – where the sun is warm, the water’s fine and you can feel free to strip down to nothing. Oh bummer, convicted nudist loses appeal The decision by Judge DCJ Jones in the Maroochydore District Court means police have fresh case law to back them when charging people nude sunbathing at the popular Noosa spot. A petition calling on Premier Annastacia Palaszczuk to make A-Bay Queensland’s first official nude beach has also reached a dead end. Group wants section of Wasaga Beach to be declared clothing-optional WASAGA BEACH – It may be cold and icy outside but local nudists are petitioning municipal and provincial governments for their place in the sun along the world’s largest freshwater beach. The Wasagabares have submitted letters to the Ministry of Natural Resources (MNR) and the Town of Wasaga Beach looking for a section of Wasaga Beach to be designated clothing-optional for this coming summer. John Cropper, the founder of Wasagabares and director of the Federation of Ontario Naturists, expressed in a December letter to Mayor Brian Smith his concern over not receiving a reply from John Fisher of the MNR from letters dated September and October. Cropper suggests that the far east end of Beach Area 1 be the designated area. “We have historically collected at the ‘Point’… adjacent to the mouth of the Nottawasaga River, for decades. Many of us are children and grandchildren who initially came with our folks to enjoy our wonderful beach at the water’s edge across from the dune,” the …
Curators note: Resort and camp owners should take note that is was an interest that had nothing to do with being clothes free (hand drumming) that got the speaker to a clothing optional camp.
